Join Us for Swimming Lessons
CCC has highly trained independent contractors with a variety of water safety certifications. Coach Carmody has personally overseen the training of every employee, and ensures recurring technique and swim safety training throughout the entirety of each summer. Most of our team has been a pro around water for longer than your child has been alive, and all of them have a passion for what they do. We have several instructors returning to teach lessons again for summer 2025! Learn more about each instructor below!
My name is Colton Martinez, and I'm excited to be teaching swim lessons! I am the oldest of three; a younger brother who's a senior at Byron Nelson, and a little sister who's in 5th grade at Lakeview Elementary.
As for myself, I attended Byron Nelson High School and was on the Varsity Swim team for four years. My senior year, I had the honor of being the team Captain, as well as being an Academic All-State qualifier.
I've been swimming with the Lakeside Aquatic Club (LAC) for 11 years now and am currently a part of their National Team. My specialties in the water are butterfly and freestyle strokes.
I also took my swimming career to the next level at Ouachita Baptist University, where I am pursuing a degree in Business Finance.
I started teaching swim lessons at LAC back in May of 2021 and have since also been lifeguarding for Director Steve Melbourn at the NISD Aquatic Center since June of 2022. Additionally, I've had the opportunity to private lifeguard for multiple families in the Trophy Club/Roanoke area.

This will be my second year with CCC.

I've always enjoyed helping others, especially younger children, because I love working with them and want to see them succeed. Being taught to swim early on is a gift I greatly value, as I understand the importance of having that skill set.

We always try to keep the same instructor with the same kids since consistency seems to work best for both sides of the lessons. However, we cannot and do not guarantee this is always going to be the case. This is common practice with all other lesson facilities.
